How to seek for an advisory opinion
An Advisory Opinion is a written opinion of the Authority’s position in respect of a set of facts submitted by parties to a transaction, agreement or practices.

The opinion aims at providing guidance to parties/ business on the position that the Authority is likely to take in respect of certain transactions, agreements or practices.

The Authority provides its advice based on the facts presented and hence will only formulate an opinion on the basis of a disclosed set of facts. Should the facts change in any way, the Authority may revise its position. An Advisory Opinion is not binding on the Authority.
