Mr. Eric Mwangi joined Competition Authority of Kenya in December 2014. He has over eleven (11) years’ experience in the audit of the Government Parastatals. Previously, he had worked with Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), Kenya Film Commission (KFC) as the Manager, Internal Audit and Kenya National Audit Office (KENAO) which is currently the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) as an Auditor.

He is a holder of Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons.) and Master of Business Administration (Finance Option) from the University of Nairobi. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Kenya), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).Mr. Mwangi is an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAK), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and Information System and Control Association (ISACA). He is also a qualified Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2008 Auditor.
