Who we are

The Competition Authority of Kenya is established under the Competition Act, No. 12 of 2010 (the Act). The Authority’s mandate is to enforce the Act with the objective of enhancing the welfare of the people of Kenya by promoting and protecting effective competition in markets and preventing misleading market conduct throughout Kenya.It does this by:

  • Promoting and enforcing compliance with the Act;
  • Receiving and investigating complaints from legal or natural persons and consumer bodies;

The Competition Authority of Kenya would like to invite you for a Capacity Building Workshop in Law for Economic Regulation and Competition and Economic Regulation and Competition Economics to be held on 26th and 27th September 2018. This will be followed by the Competition Policy Symposium scheduled for 28thSeptember 2018. The training and the Symposium will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi. Please note that members of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) participating in this training will earn two (2) Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points.

Please note:

  • Registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of the full payment.
  •   Admission is on a first-come first-served basis.
  • The fee of KES 60,000.00 only covers the conference cost - course materials, refreshments and lunches. The fee excludes accommodation, visa or travel facilitation cost, dinner or other costs arising from the conference participation.
