Mr. Mukofu is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 15 years of post-admission experience. He is responsible for providing secretarial services to the Authority’s Board, advising on corporate governance, managing the Authority’s litigation function, legislative and policy advisory.

Until his appointment, he was the Deputy Director Legal Services at the Anti-Counterfeit Authority where he provided sound legal counsel and strategic direction in matters related to legal services and compliance in the fight against trade in counterfeit goods. Mr. Mukofu has also served at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions as a Senior Principal Prosecution Counsel.

Mr. Mukofu holds a Masters of Laws and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi. He is also a Certified Public Secretary, CPS(K) and a member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya (ICS). 

Mr. Mukofu has also been trained in consumer protection law, trial advocacy, criminal prosecution, negotiation, strategic leadership, management, communication and is a legal and compliance auditor.
